Presidents Corner July 2007:

 

If you missed it, we had a very informative presentation at VGT last month on a new concept in avionics. 

Brian and Bruce Banks representing AVEO USA (link: http://www.aveousa.com/index.php) showed us some early

information on their avionics and flight instrument package.  Pretty high tech, but promised to be easy and cost effective to implement. 

They also hope to have a new light sport plane (with this new avionics package) for us to look at in September or so. 

Pretty exciting stuff.

 

Reminder – the August meeting is cancelled.

 

We also announced a trip to McCarran ATC (TRACON and Tower) scheduled for October 8^th.

Our July meeting will be at Glenn’s hangar at Boulder City.  We have Rich Jones coming to give us an update on the

Searchlight Airpark.  Looks like they have hangar and home sites for sale (see www.searchlightairpark.com ). 

Hope to see everyone there.  Give me a call if you have trouble getting through the gate.
